Auditions for the fourth season of the  reality TV  show, Big Brother Naija  kicked off on  Friday across the  different states of the federation. A large number of people had turned out at the different venues for the auditions as early as midnight. Fans of the show had also taken to the social media to express amazement at the turnout of people. @chi_derah tweeted, ”the crowd is so massive. BBNaija auditions got a high crowd at the venues as early as 4:45a.m. Apparently, some people slept at the venues.” @madukaegbuonu tweeted, “Lagos auditions happening now at 12:a.m. (midnight). INEC The Independent National Electoral  Commission , INEC, has released the final list of governorship candidates ahead of the general election.INEC In the list released on Thursday, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has no candidate for both Rivers and Zamfara states. The list was signed by INEC Secretary, Rose Oriaran-Anthony. Meanwhile, the APC says it will do everything within the Law to ensure that it fields candidates for governorship and legislative elections in Zamfara. Malam Lanre Issa-Onilu, the APC National Publicity Secretary, gave the assurance at a news conference on Thursday in Abuja. Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High court in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has restrained the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from presenting Tonye Cole and Magnus Abe as governorship candidates in the general elections. Justice Omotosho also nullified all direct and indirect primaries conducted by both factions of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state. According to Omotosho, none of the primaries were conducted according to the law. The judge noted that the INEC did not do well by submitting names of candidates without consideration of previous court orders.
